Thanksgiving is almost here! I get really excited about Thanksgiving for a whole slew of reasons. One, I love Turkey. It's so good and I rarely get it unless it is, you guessed it, Thanksgiving. Two, it means Christmas is around the corner! Christmas is my most favorite holiday and I'm really looking forward to this year's Holiday Season! Third, I'm actually a fan of Black Friday. I like shopping for all the deals on everything...yeah, a little girly, but hey, you can get new Xbox 360 games for $30 and I can get my loved ones nice gifts! The last reason, and the most important one of all, is that I love sitting down an really EATING dinner with the family. I know it's hard for the whole family to really sit and enjoy a full meal, myself being one of the biggest culprits, but I love the way we all manage to blow everything off for this one meal...myself included. So, I hope everyone has a happy holiday! I came up with this little poem today, it's a much happier and goofier poem, since Thanksgiving isn't a naturally somber holiday or event. Enjoy!
I woke up this morning
With hair in my face
Sleep in my eyes
And the sun shining down
With hair in my face
I walked up the stairs
And the sun shining down
Beneath me became green
I walked up the stairs
Passed the blue grass that
Beneath me became green
Wave to William the Platypus
Passed the blue grass that
I made a deep hole in
Wave to William the Platypus
He's doing his morning exercises
I made a deep hole in
The clouds where people stop and say
He's doing his morning exercises
Let him rise up soon
The clouds where people stop and say
Prophecies that come true immediately
Let him rise up soon
I woke up this morning
It's a little weird and seem too structured at times, but I was going for something a little different. If you wonder why it's done the way it's done, click here and learn! As always, comments are loved! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
